She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Ness; her parents, Ilas Thomas and Ellen Luke (Sickler); her brothers, Richard Thomas and Kenneth Oden; her grandchild Anaiah Phillips; and her aunts, Betty Cambron and Mildred Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Hanna Brewer (Elysa Bonner), Jonathan Brewer (JD) and Rachel Ness (James); her grandchildren, Peter, Isaac, Chastity, Jayven and Raylynn; and her siblings, David Thomas, Dianna Thomas-Scarlet, Theresa Ivy, Tommy Oden, Shelly Brown, Joseph Luke and Benjamin Luke.
