He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Marler and Mary Marler; and his sister Bonnie Staggs. He is survived by: his wife Misty Marler; his daughter Shannon "Katy" Thompson (Alan); his stepchildren, Sadie Coleman and Spencer Patty; his grandchildren, Kelly Thompson, Logan Thompson, Fox Thompson, Micki Thompson and Sofia Ramirez; and his siblings, Barbara Byassee and Dennis Marler (Claudia).
