He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Laster and Edena Lawson; and his pet Smokey. He is survived by: his children, Christina Cavaness and Jamie Laster (Allison); his siblings, Tim Laster (Holly) and Karen Herrold (Jeff); and his grandsons, Dylan Cavaness and Weston Cavaness. He is also survived by numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
