He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Earl Thomason and Grace Arlene Thomason (Cavanaugh); his brother Patrick Thomason; his wife Spring Thomason; his nephew Curt Clark; his grandson Maddox Blaize Thomason; and his daughter-in-law Jamie Thomason.
He is survived by: his children, Zachary Thomason (Sammie) and Kelli Leake; his sister Tammy Lufkin (Larry); his grandchildren, Colton Thomason, Chloe Thomason, Mackenzie Thomason, Hayden Thomason, Emerald Thomason, Jada Voss, Zander Voss and Phoenix Voss; and his parents-in-law, Colton, Chloe and Brandy Leisure.
