Linda Gunn Obituary

Linda "Earlene" (Wilkins) Gunn, 75, passed peacefully from this life on February 26, 2025 at the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge, AR.

Linda was the daughter of the late Earl Wilkins and Ophelia (Thompson) Wilkins and was the oldest of six children. Born in Monette on January 9, 1950 and was raised in the Caraway community. She was a 1968 graduate of Caraway Central High School. Throughout her life, she had resided in Lake City for many years before relocating to the Finch community where she had lived until her health required full-time nursing care. She was of the Baptist faith and a member at Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ophelia Wilkins and her husband of 26 years, Roy Lee Gunn.

Survivors include two sons, Marcus Gunn and Kyle Gunn of Paragould; four brothers, Earl (Nancy) Wilkins, Merle Wilkins, Rick Wilkins and Rob Wilkins, all of Paragould; one sister, Lisa (Donald) Mitchell of Jonesboro. Two grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth (Gunn) Rosario and Caleb Gunn; one great-grandson, Luca Rosario, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Also, several beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Clarks Chapel Baptist Church on Hwy 351 in Paragould with pastor Mark Harmon officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.
