Leotis Slatton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leotis Slatton of Paragould, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Slatton and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Layton Slatton; his siblings, J. D. (Eula Slatton), Walter Slatton, Roy Slatton, Ray (Dorothy Slatton), Alton Slatton and Grace (Bill Brown); and his brother-in-law Marion Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Ava Jean Slatton; his daughter Janet (Charles Pratt); his sister Laura Ann Walker; and his sister-in-law Wanda Slatton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Leotis' honor to Mt. Zion Cemetery, P.O. Box 98 Walcott, Arkansas 72474.
