He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira D. Shedd and Martha "Lorette" Shedd (Alston) of Manila; and his siblings, Martha Lorette Donner (Shedd), Ira "Wayne" Shedd of Manila and Frieda Janette Felts (Shedd) of Paragould.
He is survived by: his daughter Jane; his wife Marcia Shedd (White) of Paragould; his children, Steven Lee Shedd of North Hollywood and Cary Lea Lattus (Shedd); his son-in-law Robert Curlin Lattus of Sherwood; his son Omer Lee Shedd; his daughter-in-law Kelly Shedd (Frye) of Cramerton; his grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Gaisbauer (Harvill), Cary "Rebecca" Oldham (Harvill), Cooper James Harvill, Conrad Joseph Harvill, Anna "Olivia" Lattus, Robert "Thomas" Lattus, William Samuel Lattus, Mary Anne Lattus, John Paul Lattus, Sarah Jane Lattus, Nathanael Lee Lattus, Hadassah Margaret Lattus, Emmie Elizabeth Lattus, Justus Joseph Lattus, Ashlee Elizabeth Shedd, Maxwell Davis Shedd and Caroline Jane Shedd; and his great grandchildren, Chris of Miles, BG, Charlie, Murphy and Gwen.
He worked with the Arkansas Foundation for Quality in Medical Care for 10 years, and was the Chairman of the Board for the last two years.
