He was predeceased by: his father Gene Weatherford; his brother Tracy Franks; and his stepson Billy C. Hyde. He is survived by: his mother Martha Weatherford; his children, Jason Weatherford, Jessie Weatherford (Erica) and Barbara "LeLe" McGee (Chuck); his grandchildren, Kody (Chloe), Emily (Daniel), Jathan (Saige), Olivia (Kyler), Mikee (Paisley), Courtney McGee, Sammy McGee and Abby McGee; his great grandchildren, Anna, Chayson and Oliver; his stepmother Jenny Weatherford; and his siblings, Mike Franks (Michelle), Mark Franks (Regina), Rodney Weatherford (Diann), David Weatherford, Jessica Robson, Tina Gray (Billy) and Rhonda Lamure (Danny).
