As we bid adieu to Gene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gene has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Leland Burrow and Gladys Burrow; and his wife Mary Burrow. He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Garrett (Chad) and Sarah Walker (Mark); his siblings, Kerron Smith, Donnie Burrow (Cleta) and Gary Burrow (Dennita); and his grandchildren, Alex Walker, Ella Walker, CJ Garrett and Luke Garrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
