He is survived by: his son John K. Ellington (Amber); his granddaughter Fredia S. Ellington; and his siblings, Mary Ann Riney (Alvin) of Pocahontas and Leon Ellington (Charlene) of Pocahontas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
