She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Esbert Reed and Larah Linda Reed (Bowman); and her brothers, Pete Gilbert and J. P. Reed. She is survived by: her son Charles Henry May; her sisters, Linda Reed and Dorothy Reed; her half-siblings, Rosemarie Elliot and Fred Stuart, Jr.; her niece Karen Grim; and her granddaughter Graci Grim.
