She was predeceased by: her parents, Dempsey Cole and Ruthie Cole; her husband William Swan; her daughter Rhonda Valrew Ashley; her granddaughter Christian Ann Gilbert; and her siblings, Dillon, Wilburn, Theodore, William, Donald Cole and Rachel Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Gilbert (Kimberly) of Evening Star, Keith Gilbert of Paragould, Ruthie Swan (Billy Fraze) of Paragould, Serena Eason (Larry) of Paragould and Leslie Swan of Paragould; and her siblings, Verlon Cole, Ruth Gomer, Delphia Sue Cox and Brenda Cole. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren.
