It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellan Cole (Paragould, Arkansas), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Tommy Cole; her parents, James Bruce and Glenavie Bruce; her grandson Zachary Gannon; her siblings, Jimmy Don Bruce and Kathryn "Sue" Bruce; and her nephew Floyd Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Gannon (Timothy) of Holly Grove, Julia Carter of Jonesboro and William L. Cole of Paragould; her grandchildren, Caleb Gannon (Hannah), Jessica Caldwell, Olivia Carter (Andrew), Eathan Carter, William "Will" Cole, Ashlie Thacker and Josh Cole; her siblings, Mary Scott, Jean Nelson and Roger Bruce; her son-in-law Donald Carter; and her close friend Gail Atkinson. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heath Funeral Home (321 W Garland St, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the New Liberty Cemetery (3200 Greene Rd 520, Marmaduke, AR 72443).
