He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Smith and Mildred Smith; and his siblings, Lola Hileman, Betty Thomas of Slyvia Hampton, M. J, L. D. Smith and Carl James Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Smith; his children, Scotty Smith (Dara), Ronny Smith (Angie), Jeremy Smith (Miranda), Tracy Bellis (Scott) and Stacy Paltillo; his sister Velta McNatt; his grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (Miranda), Zakk Frahler (Madison), Darien Douglas (Bradley), Alec Jackson (McKenzie), Allison Clifford, Cecil Wicker, Brittany Eisele (Matt) and Austin Bellis; and also Mary Sailor. He is also survived by fifteen great- grandchildren.
