She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Brumett and Recea Brumett (Dowdy); and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Brumett, Martha "Doodle" Long, Albertine "Tean" Rogers and Dorothy "Dot" Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Adkerson (Kelly) and Teresa Dick; her grandchildren, Amy Hyde, Amber Jones (Heath), Bethany Moss (Jeff), Aaron Hyde (Shea), Josh Adkerson (Kacie), Cameron Adkerson (Bailey) and Kalee Adkerson; and her close friend Maggie Smith. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to NEA Baptist Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care in her memory, 4808 East Johnson Avenue, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
