He is survived by: his wife Glenna Holliman; his children, Derrick Effinger and Christine Effinger; his adoptive daughter Angel Moody; his sisters, Jessie Derman, Sue Pendergrass and Norma Holliman; and his grandchildren, D. J. Rojas, Christopher Rojas, Jacob Clapp, McKayla Cook, Kartlynn Arrigo, Mya Arrigo, David Arrigo and Alex Moody. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
