Though David Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphus Downs and Mavis Short Downs; and his brother George Downs. He is survived by: his sister Ava Slatton; and his niece Janet Pratt (Charles).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (1520 US 49, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in David's honor to Mt. Zion Cemetery, P.O. Box 98 Walcott, Arkansas 72474.
