With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cox Jd of Paragould, Arkansas, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael Cox and Elsie Cox; his son Mark Cox; and his siblings, Peggy Langston, Linda Touchstone and Larry Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Panzy Cox of Paragould; his sons, Audie Cox (Rhonda) of Paragould and Phillip Cox of Paragould; and his siblings, Wicky Cox of Trumann, Waymon Cox of Jonesboro, Danny Cox of Conway, Sue Henry of Jonesboro and Joyce Darling of Bay. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
