With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrie JoAnn Howard (Paragould, Arkansas), who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Glover and Bertha Glover; her siblings, Elmer Glover, Jim Glover, Goldie Hendley and Juanita Glover; her children, Teddy Norman, Kenny Norman, Roger Norman, Kathy and Karen Norman; her stepdaughter Joyce Mayo; her grandchildren, Stacy Simpson, Marka Hooks, Cassie Norman, Jamie Hooks, William Norman and Dakota Poore; and her children-in-law, Clay Poore, Terry Dees, Darrel Simpson, Jerry Mason, Jim Martin and Juris Norman.
She is survived by: her sisters, Erma Foster (Jess) and Connie Schofield (Tim); her daughters, Edith Walker of Florida, Mable Poore of Beech Grove, Darlene Forbs (David Squires) of Paragould and Ellen Whitlow (Phillip) of Paragould, Arkansas; and her daughter-in-law Sheila Norman of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (1520 US 49, Paragould, AR 72450). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Linwood Cemetery.
