She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sharp and Martha Sharp; her husband Jerry Shipman; and her daughters, Tonya Yeargin and Jeri Sue Banks.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Shipman, Tracy Shipman, Luis Thigpin, Cameron Shipman, Sonia Thigpen, Emily Shipman, Maria Trujllo, Lily Shipman and Candace Shipman; her siblings, Fred Laverdure, Becky Laverdure, Teresa Gibson, Diannia Bannegas and Donna Kueneman; and her grandchildren, Adrian Banks, Ashley Torres (Banks), Hali Shipman, Shana Williams, Allen Shipman, Wesley Shipman, Stormie Moore, Kaileb Shipman, Cameron Shipman and Candace Shipman. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
