He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Harrison and May Hassie Mitchell Clayton; and his siblings, Marie Collie, Willie Albert Garner, Jewell Lynch, Anna Anderson, Murray, Hoyt and Gayle Clayton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Clayton of Paragould, AR; his daughter Brenda Barnes; his stepchildren, Wayne Sluder (Becky), Bert Sluder (Ruth Ann), Carl Sluder and Debbie Cates; and his brother John David Clayton (Frances). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
