Arthur Lee Turman Obituary

Arthur Lee Turman, 89, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on July 19, 2024 at his home. He was born on June 1, 1935 in Lafe, Arkansas, to Hezzie Lewis and Flora Belle Britt Turman. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and worshiped at the River of Life Apostolic Church in Paragould and a United States Air Force veteran. He was a pilot and owned his own plane, and enjoyed boating, fishing, and working on old TV's. He loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include; his wife of 64 years: Barbara Turman of the home; three sons: Terry Lee Turman (Cathy) of Yuba, California, David Lynn Turman (Karen) of Grain Valley, Missouri, and Jason Odell Turman of Paragould, Arkansas; three daughters: Deborah Ellen Daniel of St. Charles, Missouri, Donna Helen Gentemann of St. Charles, Missouri, and Cortney Taylor Bell (Aaron) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Joseph Lynn Turman and Larry Turman; three sisters: Alice Cannon, Ann Willis, and Linda Howard; five grandchildren: Ben, Reece, Jake, and Amanda; six great-grandchildren: Victoria, Dillion, Rosie, Jordyn, Adrian, and Kiera; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by; his parents: Hezzie and Flora Turman; three brothers: Terry Don Turman, Butch Turman, and Ray Leon Turman; one sister: Iva Mae Hunt; and one great-grandson: Jerimiah Nelson Turman.

Pallbearers: David Turman, Ron Cannon, Duane Orr, Jason Turman, Reece Turman, Jake Turman and Terry Turman.

Funeral services will be held on July 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the River of Life Apostolic Church in Paragould, Arkansas with Pastor Bryce Smithee. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
