She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Bishop and Anna Bishop; her son Van Allen Barnett; and her siblings, Johnny Bishop, Jim Bishop, Bobbie Holland and Jo Ann Bradshaw.
She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas Barnett; her husband Marvin Manis; her children, Tom Barnett (Ernestine) of Sherman, Texas and Paula Briggs (Rick) of Morgantown; her grandchildren, Lisa Davis of Morgantown, Clay Barnett (Laura) of Sherman, Ryan Barnett (April) of Fort Johnson, Amanda Spickard (Brad) of Swampscott and Lindsey Barnett-Snyder (Scott) of Paragould; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Thomas, Chris, Jocelyn of Ryan, Victoria and Noelle. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
