She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin and Foy Lee Pate Wise; her husband Gerald Melvin Thompson; and her siblings, Howard Wise, Dale Wise, Gerald Wise, Carnell Holcomb, Frances Hughes and Helen Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Wayne Thompson and Joyce Diane Cook (Jack) of Ozark, Alabama; her sister Naomi Townsend of Pangburn, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Stoney Thompson (Lisa), Jason Thompson (Missie), Jennifer Dermody (Tom) and Sharla Livingston (Steve); her stepgrandchildren, Rachael D'Souza (Mark) and Jack Counce (Jillian); and her sisters-in-law, Janice Wise and Virginia Thompson. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church Benevolence Fund or Building Fund.
