He was predeceased by: his parents, Vodie Russell and Gracie Russell; and his wife Loretta Russell. He is survived by: his children, Craig Russell (Lee Anne) of Searcy, Tina Rishaw (Rick) of Bell Buckle and Angela O'Neil (Keith) of Murfreesboro; and his brother Larry Russell (Joyce) of Union City. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
