She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Charles Buckley and Norma Leona Brown Abney; her son Billy Ray Abernathy; and her siblings, Kenneth, Richard Duncan, Sharon George and Debbie Duncan.
She is survived by: her sisters, Kathy Springer and Lynda Patrick; and her children, Anita Harbin, William Abernathy (Angie), Jacqueline Abernathy and Nicole Stayton (Jeremy). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
