He was predeceased by: his brother Loal Hayes; his sister-in-law Mayrene Hayes; and his nephews, Mark and Mitchell. He is survived by: his spouse Stella Hayes; his children, Jerry Hayes of Dexter, Tracy Hayes of Sherwood and LaTonya Hayes of Dexter; his stepchildren, Jeff Prince (Tammy) of Heber Springs and Cindy Garrison (John) of Vilonia; his sisters, Mary Hayes of Pangburn, Nellie Lacy of Wilburn and Gwen Prince; and his friend Doug Sturch. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
