She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bowman and Leatrice Bowman (Geneva); her husband Dennald "Shorty" Stroud; her son Dennald Carrel Stroud; and her siblings, Elwanda Boone, Mable Nick, Genelle Howdeshell and Earl Bowman, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Davis of Pangburn, Betty Higgs of Bauxite and Janet Whisenant (Fred) of Mayflower; and her daughter-in-law Chris Stroud of Jacksonville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (404 W Dewitt Henry Dr, Beebe, AR 72012). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Antioch Cemetery (2060 AR-31, Beebe, AR 72012).
