He is survived by: his children, Linda Jeffrey (Michael Jeffrey), Brent Howton (Christie Taylor Howton) and Wanda Whittenton (Joe Whittenton); his grandchildren, Carma Jeffrey Meitzen (Tim), Alex Jeffrey (McKinzie), Seth Jeffrey (Laurie), Natalie Howton Barker (Jacob), Matthew Howton, Bryan Whittenton (Olivia), Will Whittenton (Amy), Lucas Whittenton, Anna Horton and Miranda Paulk; his great grandchildren, Kale, Booker Jeffrey, Evan, Elizabeth, Eli Jeffrey, Whitt, Jennings, Riggs Meitzen and Aaron Barker; his siblings, Keith Howton, Audrey Jones, Elnora Adams and Aline Lemons; and his wife Ruth Gore Howton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
