It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Shelia Long of Palestine, Arkansas, born in Wynne, Arkansas, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Jones Watson and Dorothy Ragan Wallace Watson; her husband Rupert Long; and her children, Dana Holt (Gerald) of Malvern, Sara Brinsfield of Forrest City, Misty Boileau (Derrick) of Palestine, Polly Brown of Olive Branch, Rebecca (Jeff Meek) of Palestine, Chad Long (Valerie) of Palestine, Brian Long (Myra) of Forrest City and Bill Jackson (Robin) of Ada, Oklahoma.. She was also cherished by several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
