She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hawk and Ella Shipley Hawk; her husband James Floyd Vest Sr.; and her daughters, Tina Brazile and Charlotte Ketchum.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Hobson of Palestine and James F. Vest Jr. (Marla) of Clinton; her siblings, Tony Hawk of Deer Park and Pat Crews (Paul) of Wynne; her grandchildren, Brandon Hobson (Christy), Alison Shepherd, Amanda Hobson, Kristin Fleming (Adam), Daniel Getchell (Brittnay) and April Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Sydney Hobson, Gavin Hobson, Garrison Hobson, Mason Shepherd, Bryce Hobson (Renee), Barrett Hobson, Avery Fleming, Ava Fleming, Carter Getchell and Donovyn Ketchum; her great great grandchild Tobias Ketchum; and her close friend Doris Johnson of Palestine.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bell Cemetery (797 AR-261, Palestine, AR 72372).
