It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Carroll of Palestine, Arkansas, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Carroll and Virginia Freeland Carroll; and his siblings, Lucy St. John, Bob, Jim and Wendell Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Williams Carroll; his children, Mike Carroll, Charles Hudnall (Tina) and Melissa Hart; his grandchildren, Tracy Carroll, Eric Carroll, Ashley Carroll, Samantha Carroll, Chris Wilson, Steve Wilson, Sonny McCoy and Charlie McCoy; and his brother Wayne Carroll (Martha). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
