He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Peevey Jones and Joe Peevey, Sr.; his brother Joe Peevey, Jr.; his son Michael Peevey (Mary Ann Peevey); and his brother Cecil Peevey.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Mathis of Wynne; his brother Bobby Peevey of Southaven; his stepson Bill Goodwin (Margie) of Wynne; and his parents-in-law, Sharon Lewis, Brenda St. Claire, Nellie Fay Barber, Dwight Barber, Clarence Barber, Bobbie Goodwin, Rodney Barber, Jo Cook, Hoppy, Linda Martin, Shelia, Ray Dean Davis and Ann Butler (Erma Pennington). He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
