She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Allison Hubbard and Willie Mae Herndon Hubbard; her husband Jesse James Johnson, Sr.; her sisters, Carolyn Meadows, Irene Spence and Jean Lane; her children-in-law, Frank E. Stone, Jr. and Deborah Ann Johnson; and her granddaughter-in-law Edith Marie Green.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse James Johnson, Jr. (Mary Lou), William Paul Johnson (Lori), David Malcolm Johnson (Melba), Richard Earl Johnson, Priscilla Irene Johnson, Mare Joyce Stone and Joy Evangeline Celestre (Joseph). She is also survived by her 56 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
