It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Jean Baxter of Ozone, Arkansas, born in Fort Hood, Texas, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Martin and Arlene Reed Griffith; her husband Jack Baxter; and her brother Larry Martin. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Higby (Michael Smothers) of Rogers, Arkansas; her stepchildren, Brenda Baxter of Garden City, Idaho, Bruce Baxter (Nora) of Phoenix, Arizona, Bryan Baxter of Columbus, Kansas and Wendell Baxter of Boise, Idaho; and her siblings, Nolan Martin of Rogers, Arkansas, Ritta M. Basu (Rahul Basu) of St. Charles and Rebecca Griffith of Coal Hill, Arkansas. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
