He is survived by: his wife Shelby Melson (Brown); his children, Carla (Steve Stewart) of Ozone and Stephen (Amy Melson) of Ozone; and his grandchildren, Jordan (Bailey Pledger), Jocelyn (Rush Cornwell), Stephanie Melson, Kristyn Brown, Caleb Melson, Hayden Brown and Rylan Melson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
