He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Henry Heffington and William Elbert Heffington; his sister Selma Arnold; and his wife Betty Marie Heffington (Bass). He is survived by: his sons, William Edward Heffington, Jr. of Ozark and Howard Rex Heffington, Sr. (Terri) of Ozark. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the SIX Mile Creek Primitive Baptist Church (8287 State Hwy 22, Paris, AR 72855). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
