He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace R. "Snap" Alston and Velma Hobbs Alston; and his sisters, Wilma Carson and Melba Mershon. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Kremers (Guy) of Lavaca, Jan Yutterman (Jesse) of Fort Smith, Donna Stewart (Mike) of Haslet, Texas, Wallace G. Alston, Ronnie Alston, Bettis Alston and Sandra Myers of Ozark; his nephews, Terry Carson of Fort Smith and Martin Mershon of Alix, Arkansas; and his niece Pam Smith of Dover, Arkansas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
