It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Carroll Armstrong Sr. of Ozark, Arkansas, born in Modesto, California, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Armstrong and Juanita Crouch Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Judith Waldron Armstrong; his children, Richard Armstrong (Julie Eveld Armstrong) of Ozark, Arkansas and Kimberly Zwiesler (Daniel Zwiesler) of Spokane, Washington; his granddaughters, Shelby Armstrong Melton (Caleb Melton) of Rogers, Isabella Grace Zwiesler (Nathan Ivanoff) of Spokane, Abigail Jaree Zwiesler of La Mirada and Olivia Kate Zwiesler of Spokane, Washington; his great grandchildren, Wes, Gunner and Jeb Melton of Rogers, Arkansas; and his siblings, Gregory H. Armstrong (Donna Armstrong) of Ozark and Dathyl McKenzie of Ozark. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, sisters-in-law and spouses and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (304 W Market St, Ozark, AR 72949).
