She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Jack and Selma Huggins Collins; her husband Wayne Waits; and her siblings, Sue Lassiter, Mary Lasiter and Jack Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Patrick (Paula), Guila Cagle (Shawn), Lisa McChristian and Carla Easom. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
