With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Milburn Vernon Kuykendall of Ozark, Arkansas, born in Nashoba, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 90. In the sacred silence of farewell, Milburn Vernon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar A. Kuykendall and Lillian Wilson Kuykendall; his former wife Naomi Crouch Kuykendall; and his siblings, Archie "Joe" Kuykendall, Harvey Kuykendall, Imogean Jeffcoat and Vivian Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Karon Self Kuykendall; and his sons, David Kuykendall (Jane) of Van Buren, Dan Kuykendall (Cathy) of Fort Smith and Ron Kuykendall (Brenda) of Ozark. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many other family members of his blended family.
