She was predeceased by: her husband L. D. Elder; and her sister Carolyn Brown. She is survived by: her children, Lionel Elder (Maxine) of Barnes, Luther Elder II (Shelly) of Barnes and Hilda Daugherty (Larry) of Van Buren; and her grandchildren, Hallie Young (Matt), Melinda Crooks (Steven), Aaron Elder, Mashayla and Ashli Sligar. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
