He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fielding Wheeless and Ora Jacobs Wheeless; and his siblings, William Hoyt Wheeless, Wayne Wheeless, Venice Kirby, Eunice Highfill and Wanda Faye Wheeless.
He is survived by: his wife Martheda Friddle Wheeless; his daughter Rebecca Faith Wheeless of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and his nieces and nephews, Patricia Patterson (Ronald) of Clarksville, Marilynn Frazier (Garvis) of Ozark, Bob Highfill (Liz) of Springdale and Don Highfill (Flo) of Coal Hill, Arkansas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (2315 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (304 W Market St, Ozark, AR 72949). A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery (1509 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949).
