Jesse Lee Wade Obituary

Jesse "J.L." Lee Wade, age 88, of Ozark, Arkansas, died, Monday, February 6, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born May 11, 1934 in Ozark to Jesse Herman Wade and Mary Lee Avery Wade. J.L. was of the Christian faith, a Veteran of the United States Navy, an Aircraft Mechanic, and worked at Cargill. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Jane McCoy Wade; one daughter, Suzan Sinclair; and two sons, Tommy and Danny Sinclair.

J.L. is survived by his one brother, Donald Monroe Blythe of Ozark; one granddaughter, Tommie Sinclair of Hartman, Arkansas and one grandson, Jeremy Sinclair of Hartman; one great granddaughter, Ryleigh Edwards; and one great grandson, Kevin Johnston of Hartman.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the National Cemetery, 522 Garland Avenue Fort Smith, Arkansas, with Brother Jan Akins officiating, with burial at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
