He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Pickartz and Vernie Stewart Pickartz; his sister Alma Anderson; and his daughter Pamela Dotson Ihle. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Pruitt Pickartz; and his children, David Pickartz, Cathy Pickartz Bennett, Kelly Pickartz Neissl, John Pickartz, Debra Summers and Billy Dotson. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
