He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Lee Cotton and Mattie Rankin Cotton; his siblings, Wayne Newman and Cindy Maddox; and his son-in-law Lonnie Miner Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Helen Cotton; his daughters, Michelle Daily (Ryan Hobbs) of Ozark and Brandy Miner of Ozark; his sisters, Jeanette Kirkland (Pete) of Troup and Jo Leta Powell of Troup, Texas; his sisters-in-law, Patti Ratliff of Ozark, Brenda Mason of Ozark, Debbie Cagle of Ozark, Faye Shepherd of Ozark and Jeanie Redd (Daryl) of Cummings, Georgia; his grandchildren, Tyler Daily, Katlynn Miner, Vincent Miner, Braylon Chandler and Peyton Miner; and his great grandchildren, Harlin, Anthony and Legend. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
