He is survived by: his wife Deddie Chess of Ozark, Arkansas; his father Zeke Bell of New Jersey; his children, Mark Chess of Passiac, Dwayne Chess Jr. of Clifton, Aaron Chess of Passiac and Taina Bouknight of Passiac; and his stepchildren, Shae Kelly (Jessica) of Ozark and Brook Pike (Tanner) of Hiwassee, Arkansas. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
