He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Demus Parrish and Geraldine Durning Parrish; his great-niece Lindsey Yates; his nephew Brian Penland; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Penland, Larry Allred and Jerry Cline; and also Raiden Vaughn.

He is survived by: his sisters, Charlotte Allred, Becky Penland and Bobbie Cline.
