We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2025, at the age of 81, Delbert Paul Cantero of Ozark, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Delbert Paul may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Delbert Paul touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Kenneth Cantero and Nellie Jane Anderson Cantero; and his brother Willis Dean Cantero. He is survived by: his wife Edith Geraldine Kelley Cantero; his children, Paul Cantero (Valerie) of Bridgeport, Lee Cantero (Kristyen) of Dublin, Justin Cantero (Mishael) of Muldrow, Karen Ball (Eddie) of Ozark, Kelley Johnson (Debbie) of Enterprise, Gail Schmalreidi (Ronnie) of Garland, Michele Farish (Terry) of Somerville and Quinton Johnson of Deatsville, Alabama; and his sister Mary Jane Lawson of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prattville Memorial Chapel and Memory Gardens (841 Fairview Ave, Prattville, AL 36066).
