He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Ola Nichols; his wife Bettye Matthews Smith; and his sister Francis Shelton. He is survived by: his children, Craig Smith (Kimberly) of Rogers, Christy Morgan (Kevin) of Williamsburg and Carla Chupik (Roland) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Matthew Morgan (Laura), Julie Holloway (Ryan), David Morgan (Ciara Thornhill), Ryan Miller (Jenna), Sarah Morgan, Catherine Smart (Jared) and Meagan Andrus (Matt); and his great grandchildren, James Morgan, Jack, Rylie, Grace Holloway, Collin, Emerson Miller, Johnathan Smart and Merritt Andrus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a local Alzheimer's Association.
